The Bermuda Rowing Association welcomes beginners or rowers who would like a refresher course to enjoy summer on the water and our great sport of rowing in our Learn To Row program under the direction a certified coach.  The program includes membership in the club to January 31, 2018.  


JUNIORS: Ages 12-17.  Two 2-week sessions 9:00 to noon Monday through Friday.  Pick up point to be advised.  Cost is $300 per session.  You may choose both sessions.

ADULTS:  Four-week session 6:00am to 8:00am MWF or TTHS.  Pick up from the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club.  Cost is $395.


ADULT ROWERS  Classes will be 3 times per week (early weekdays, 6-8:15am and some week-ends, 9am until 11:30 am over 4 weeks and includes all equipment and a regatta. The fee is $395, which includes membership to 31st Jan 2018. All equipment is supplied; you must be able to swim 100m wearing rowing kit and be reasonably fit.  Courses run July 3 thru July 28th.

Two friendly (but competitive!) regattas will be included in each course, as well as a social event. Spaces on the courses are limited and payment secures your “crew” seat.  You can download the application form here and email  to bermudarowingassociation@gmail.com

SCULLING PROGRAM  
Sculling at the Club consists of a combination of coached practices and independent sculling. 

Coached sculling is for:

  • Beginning scullers who have completed the Learn to Row course or another rowing club 
  • Experienced scullers who wish to work on technique


Independent sculling is for:

  • Experienced scullers who can demonstrate basic sculling ability and
  • have passed the Solo Test.
